Karina's path to counseling has been shaped by resilience and personal transformation. From her early years as a troubled youth, to a professional athlete and ultimately overcoming a life-altering transplant; her resilience has been a constant theme in her story. Karina has faced extraordinary challenges and experiences that have given her a deep understanding and empathy for the struggles of others. She is passionate about using her lived experiences to help children, teens and adults navigate their own personal journey towards healing. Karina believes in the power of empathy and connection through tailoring her therapy to each client's needs and strength, to empower them with resilience and to regain their self-worth.
She states, “My approach centers on building strong, supportive relationships with my clients. I engage with each person in a way that respects their individuality, strengths, and own unique experiences. I provide a judgment free space where healing can take place”.

Pre-Licensed Counselor:
Karina graduated from Western New Mexico University with a master’s in social work and has experience with ABA therapy. She has developed a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by children, teens, and families. Her approach is grounded in empathy, compassion, and her own lived experiences, which allows her to connect with clients on a deeper level. Karina's ability to understand and relate to the struggles of others, paired with her commitment to helping individuals discover their inner strength,
