Melissa Lampert
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #124116
Choosing a therapist that is a good fit for you is a very important choice, and, if you are like me, you’d like to get to know the person you are choosing a little more! Originally from Walton, West Virginia, and having grown up in Orlando, FL, I did my undergraduate work at the University of Central Florida. After graduating with a BA in English Literature, I immediately moved to Boston and began a successful career in the magazine publishing industry. A few years after college graduation I was blessed to become a published author with my work appearing in books such as “Life Savors”, “Cup of Comfort Devotional for Mothers and Daughters”, “All My Bad Habits I Learned from Grandpa”, and “His Forever, Real People Coming to Jesus”. Later, I would obtain my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy graduating Cum Laude from California Southern University.I am the extremely proud wife of a former Soldier. I have been with the love of my life for going on 32 years. We are blessed with two adult children and our grandchild! Together, my husband and I are actively involved in our church and with helping veterans. When not working you will find us hiking, riding in our Jeep, at the beach, or spending quality time with our dog, an Akita named Stevie Nicks.

Emma Rubin
Life Coach Specializing in Neurofeedback
Welcome—I’m glad you’re here. I help individuals create meaningful, tangible change as they work toward greater balance, clarity, and emotional wellbeing. With over a decade of experience in the mental health field, I offer a warm, compassionate, and engaging approach to psychotherapy and coaching, grounded in collaboration and respect for your unique strengths.
My work is holistic, strengths-based, and solution-focused. Together, we look at the whole person—mind, body, and lifestyle—to support lasting growth and wellbeing. I value the mind-body connection and recognize the important roles of spiritual wellness, nutrition, and daily habits in mental health. Depending on your needs and goals, our work may incorporate mindfulness practices, gratitude, guided meditation, breathwork, and other evidence-based techniques, always thoughtfully tailored to you.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, graduating with honors. During my graduate studies, I served as a graduate research assistant to the department chair. After relocating to Connecticut, I became licensed and board certified as a Psychotherapist and later board certified in Neurofeedback. I hold additional certifications in Intensive Psychiatric Services (Yale University), Medical Neuroscience (Duke University), and EEG Biofeedback (New Mind Academy). I am also a member of The American Counseling Association, The National Board for Certified Counselors, The Biofeedback Certification International Alliance, and the International Society for Neuroregulation and Research.
I am especially passionate about an interdisciplinary approach to mental health, including the integration of neuroscience and psychology, as well as the emerging connection between metabolic health and psychiatric wellbeing. Above all, my goal is to help clients feel informed, empowered, and supported as they move toward meaningful and sustainable change.
Outside of the office, I enjoy time with my husband and two sons. I love being in nature, spending days at the beach, exploring museums and bookstores, and supporting local farms and farmers markets.
