Life doesn't always unfold the way we expect. Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, fertility struggles, military-related stress, or a major life transition, you don't have to face it alone. Seeking support is a courageous first step, and my goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward healing.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and veterans experiencing a wide range of emotional and relational challenges. I have a special interest in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, PTSD, grief and loss, fertility challenges, adoption, foster care, attachment concerns, relationship difficulties, and significant life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based therapy while honoring your unique experiences, values, and goals. Together, we'll work to build resilience, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than twenty years in leadership and human resources, where I developed a deep understanding of workplace stress, career transitions, communication, leadership, relationships, and personal growth. Those experiences allow me to bring a unique perspective to therapy, helping clients navigate both personal and professional challenges with greater confidence and self-awareness.
As a mother and former foster parent, I have witnessed firsthand the importance of secure relationships, resilience, and hope. These experiences have profoundly shaped my passion for supporting individuals and families through attachment, trauma, grief, and life's unexpected challenges with empathy, compassion, and encouragement.
I am currently an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in California and am pursuing my Doctoral in Psychotherapy at Loma Linda University, where I continue to deepen my clinical knowledge and commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based care.
Whether you're seeking support for yourself, your child, your relationship, or your family, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth. Christian counseling is available upon request for individuals, couples, and families who wish to integrate their faith into the therapeutic process.
